A Couple of Old Pictures

I found these pictures on my camera today. I painted this awhile ago, and it now hangs in my brothers house.

The first picture was taken before I put the finishing touches on the painting.

 The finished painting,
The Owl and the Chair

Below is a picture of it in its frame.

Watercolor Sketch

Girl with a Lamb
4X5, Pencil & Watercolor
Im going to start using a heavier weight paper for these small sketches, regular paper wrinkles up to much. My problem is, I dont like textured watercolor paper, and almost all heavy weight watercolor paper is textured. I may try bristol board because it heavy, and smooth.

My Watercolor Palette

Hey Guys, here are the colors I have in my watercolor palette. I also use these exact same colors for oil painting.
There are 15 colors total. If you only wanted to use 12 full pans, I would remove Raw Umber, Cobalt Blue, and Ultramarine Violet. I really don't need the Sap Green, but I like to mix it with Cadmium Red for some really nice earthy reds. For you Munsell enthusiast, a low chroma yellow red. If your not familiar with Munsell terminology, it basically means a greyed yellow red, at a particular value. Could be a light greyed yellow red, or a dark greyed yellow red.

Koko!

Heres a quick pencil sketch and watercolor portrait of my brothers dog KoKo. She's a Pittbull, and always wants someone to pet her. I sketched her back in 2012.
