Plein Air Sketch, 8X10, Oil on Linen

I stained the canvas with a wash of Burnt Sienna, and allowed it to dry before I started the painting. I used three pigments for this one. Titanium White, Raw Sienna- W&N, and Ivory Black.

For mediums I used; Liquin and Gamsol.

Note: The Burnt Sienna wash contributes to the overall color effect. The Palette I chose was primarily cool. Allowing the warm burnt sienna wash to show lets me play with warm and cool effects.
